The Book
You Don’t Look Young for your Age — the book
In recent years, few books have dominated non-fiction as much as Freakonomics. Its success, and that of The Tipping Point and The God Delusion clearly illustrate a huge market for analytical, thoughtful books.
Unfortunately, You Don´t Look Young for Your Age is not going to be compared to any of those books. It is analytical and thoughtful, but it’s not exactly serious. The book combines social observations with personal anecdote to poke fun at mainstream thinking, leaving the reader laughing, contemplative and more than a little bewildered.
My 10+ years analyzing Asian stock markets leave me more than qualified to write about the world, but what ever made me think I could write humor? Well, I was ranked #1 for Hong Kong bank research by Reuters. That might not seem so funny until you consider the abominable stock market advice I was giving our clients. The book pulls no punches and uses the same analytical techniques and persuasive tools that I developed over many years of obscuring the truth.
Where is the book sold?
Unfortunately nowhere, but I’ve promised myself that i would self publish in the new year if I don’t find a publisher soon. Either that or set fire to the manuscript. In the meantime, here are two sample chapters:

Or you can titillate your ocular senses here:
- My first time doing stand up comedy
- A public reading of one of my short stories
- A promotional video I made — the video was supposed to go “viral.” Unfortunately, I uploaded it to YouTube on the same day that two teenage girls chose to upload a video of themselves dancing in their undies to Daft Punk. My video might still have had a chance if their video had not also featured the girls doting over a famished kitten by the name of Carter who — abandoned by its mama — feverishly suckled from Mrs. Pink, a potbellied pig and professional surrogate mother.
